ABOUT IPSI THERAPY
Ipsi is a small independent practice founded by Dr Jacquie Coule. Jacquie is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Integrative Psychotherapist with over 22 years experience of providing psychological care within the NHS in a wide variety of settings. Jacquie has extensive experience of working in mental health and psychological wellbeing, providing therapy and psychological interventions for a multitude of issues. Her work with adults of working age has included providing individual therapy, group work, clinical supervision, reflective practice groups and also clinical consultancy to NHS staff.
Jacquie is very committed to providing high quality and effective psychological care and treatment. As a NHS consultant clinical psychologist, she led professionally on clinical outcomes and the development of best practice. Jacquie also has extensive experience of service development and evaluation work, co-authoring several papers for local and national publication.
Jacquie works within an integrative framework, where different psychological approaches and models are drawn upon and blended to find the most appropriate way forward for treatment. This means that treatments are customised and tailored to meet the particular needs of the client. Jacquie works in a collaborative style, providing a safe, compassionate and supportive environment in which to explore psychological issues and facilitate personal growth.
Jacquie is fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, who provide quality assurance to the public that a clinician’s practice is of a high quality, safe and meets the required professional and ethical standards. Jacquie is also a member of the British Psychological Society, the Society’s Division of Clinical Psychologists and the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration, an international organisation promoting psychological therapies.
